Long term Peter Mac friends, the Carlton Football Club, will wear yellow guernseys to raise funds for cancer research in their round 14 match on Sunday, July 5 against Fremantle at Subiaco Oval.
Yellow is the colour of Livestrong and the Lance Armstrong Foundation, which were established by cancer survivor and champion cyclist Lance Armstrong to raise awareness and funds for the fight against cancer.
Each Carlton player guernsey features the Livestrong logo, Armstrong’s embroidered signature and will also be signed by the player. The guernseys will be auctioned post-match online at nikestore.com.au, with all funds raised shared evenly between the Lance Armstrong Foundation and Peter MacCallum Cancer Foundation.
