Mac Feedback is Peter Mac's program to try to meet your needs better and to help us fulfil our commitment to continuous quality improvement.



Peter Mac is a public hospital and we are dedicated to making sure we deliver a quality service to our patients and their families and supporters.

If you would like to provide feedback on Peter Mac, please let us know via our "Tell us what you think" brochure.

The brochure contains a questionaire that any patient, relative, carer, friend of member of the community can fill out. You can remain anonymous if you choose.

The brochure can be picked up at any of our sites and either mailed or dropped back to us. Alternatively, you can download a copy from the link above.


If you are unhappy with your care or treatment


Please let a member of your care team know if you are unhappy with something. Often speaking about your concerns straight away can resolve any misunderstanding and a solution can be found.

If you have a complaint or concern regarding the care or treatment you received at Peter Mac, speak with the staff member concerned. This can usually be resolved immediately and you can discuss with them any action you would like taken.

If you would like further assistance with your complaint or concern you can contact our Consumer Engagement Coordinator. Our Consumer Engagement Coordinator can support you with your complaint or concern by:

  • confidentially discussing your concern
  • investigating the concern
  • helping to resolve the problem.

What can you do if you are still not happy or do not wish to speak to anyone in the hospital?


The Health Service Commission is an independent agency which was established to receive and resolve complaints regarding health service providers. You can contact the Health Service Commission on 03 8601 5222 or 1800 136 066.
