Talking to Children about Cancer - Peter Mac Cancer Centre

There is no easy way to talk about cancer. Talking to your own children can be the hardest task of all.

There is a range of resources that have been produced to help you talk to children about cancer. This page provides links to some of the information available through the Cancer Information Support Centre

The Cancer Council NSW has produced the booklet 'When a parent has cancer: how to talk to your kids'. This booklet is available from the Cancer Information and Support Centre.

The Royal Children's Hospital have produced information leaflets on talking to children about cancer that are also available in the Cancer Information and Support Centre.
