Transport Assistance
Transport Assistance may be available if your doctor or nurse has identified that you have a medical need for transport to attend your appointments at Peter Mac. If you require assistance, please contact the nurse coordinator of the Specialist Clinic you will be attending. You can do this by telephoning Peter Mac on 03 9656 1111 and ask to speak to the nurse coordinator. If you are unsure of which clinic you will be attending, it will be written on the appointment slip posted out to you.

Accommodation
Rural patients may be eligible for accommodation assistance. Peter Mac has limited accommodation in the Peter Mac Apartments, located next to the hospital. Your social worker can advise you if you are eligible. Other accommodation near the hospital, including some hotels within walking distance of Peter Mac offer reduced rates for Peter Mac patients and family members. Please contact your social worker for further information regarding this.
