Workplace giving
| Workplace giving is a powerful way to create a positive culture in your company. It’s a form of community engagement that inspires strong employee morale and job satisfaction. Workplace Giving allows employees to donate regularly through their pay. With Workplace Giving, a donation is paid by the employer on behalf of the employee. The donation is deducted from the employee’s pre-tax salary for each pay period. That means the employee receives an immediate tax deduction for the donation each pay period, with no effort! This system reduces our administrative costs and provides us with a regular form of funding. More advice on how to set up Workplace Giving can be found at www.ato.gov.au. Search for “workplace giving program”. The Peter MacCallum Cancer Foundation (ABN 14 786 237 480) holds DGR status with the Australian Tax Office. All donations are directed to cancer research, patient treatment and care at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. You can register for our Workplace Giving Program here. |
